Peace River Campgrounds is 165-acres of Florida nature goodness. The “ruins” of the All-Florida Chautauqua amphitheater offered entertainment for one season in 1929 apparently. The Great Depression and a fire in the 1930s sealed it’s doom but the pillars still stand and are a great spot for photography. Here’s a shot of it circa 1920-something…
