While visiting my best friend in Stratford-upon-Avon, England I was introduced to a traditional English tea room. The Fourteas is a 1940s themed tea room (get it?!) that is just brilliant!

The Fourteas is the dreamchild of Ian and Rachael, former stage managers. On their website they say… “We wanted a theatrical theme to the tea rooms and the 1940’s was a time with people coming together and making the most of what they had, yet also a of good quality service and carefully sourced ingredients – it seemed the ideal period. Also who could resist ‘The Fourteas’ pun as supplied by Rachael’s witty brother!” Every detail in this tea room is on point down to the Ration Book menu.

I enjoyed a Fourteas house blend tea along with a brie and cranberry sandwich that was just delish! They offer a variety of teas, coffees, a traditional tea time spread (a quartet with a sandwich of your choice, fruit scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream,a medley of cakes, and a pot of the Fourteas House Blend), hot breakfasts, sandwiches, soup and other hot lunch items.

I highly recommend this super cute and yummy stop in Stratford-upon-Avon.
