New Year’s Eve or Silvester, as they call it in Austria, is a big deal in Vienna. The entire town is decked out in decorations, stages, booths with food and drink. Something new around every corner. After scoping out all the main hot spots to ring in the New Year we decided to make our way back to the Rathaus aka the Townhall. It was amazing! Thousands of happy people coming together to celebrate the New Year, fireworks, dance a waltz and then came Rock Me Amadeus so you know I was a happy camper!
