The Brandenburger Tor (Gate) is probably one of the most well recognized landmarks in Berlin. It replaced the city gate which was where the road from Berlin to the city of Brandenburg an der Havel. This site is surrounded by embassies and other important buildings and has been the place for celebrating and marking historic occasions. It’s def worth strolling by and checking out along with the Tiergarten and The Reichstag building which are right behind it.
